Beads

Aqform's most sculptural decorative collection yet has arrived — and Lumen Loom is its exclusive UK supplier.
Beads is a new decorative family from Aqform, the Polish manufacturer, developed with designer Maciej Ferenc. The idea is simple and endlessly variable: hand-formed glass shades, threaded like beads along a slender suspension, in five sculptural forms — ball, cone, disc, ovo, and cumulus. Each one catches and softens the light in its own way, and — unusually for a decorative fitting — each stays beautiful when switched off.
What sets Beads apart is that it is a system, not a single luminaire. The shades come in four finishes — opal, graphite, fuchsia, and indigo — and mount to a slim oval microtrack that can run horizontally above a table or island, drop vertically beside a bed or through a stairwell, or combine the two. You choose the forms, the colours, the number, and the spacing; the track can be reconfigured or extended later, and even mixed with other Aqform microtrack fittings. It is decorative lighting that behaves like a kit of parts.
It is a collection made for spaces that want a decorative centrepiece with restraint — dining rooms and lounges, restaurants and cafés, receptions and meeting areas. As Aqform's exclusive UK supplier, Lumen Loom can specify, sample, price, and deliver any Beads configuration for your project, and advise on the arrangement that suits the space.
