Offices with a difference
As part of a design and build offices refurb we worked alongside both contractor and the client team to deliver lighting for this office refurbishment project in Bolton. The brief was to achieve functional office lighting whilst utilizing a combination of both architectural and decorative lighting that would compliment the interior finishes.

Designer kitchen complimented with designer lighting
Working with Gail Marsden Design and Finite Solutions controls the challenge was to provide a minimalistic yet effective lighting solution for a modern and very “clean lines” approach to a kitchen- diner and living room extension project in the north west of England.
Utilising leading lines design language and minimalistic size allowed by latest technology from Deltalight architectural luminaries, final result was a functional, yet very effective lighting scheme that worked well with the interior designers intent!

Dining in style
Working with our longstanding client Rudding Park hotel we were engaged by Interior design team at Horsley & Feather and the executive team of chef Adam Degg to translate their desire of creating an intimate dining experience set within hotel kitchen gardens and limited to less then 30 covers this truly unique restaurant offers Michelin star style dining with a menu which is ever changing and based on items in season.

Clients dilemma lied in a boardroom that wasn’t fit for purpose to host productive meetings in person or over the video calls. The position of the basic linear lights originally installed created shadows on the task area as well as created glare and visual impairment due to silhouetting during the video calls.
Lumen Loom proposed a sleek and architecturally pleasing solution from our AQform range of low voltage tracks with purpose built low glare modules to avoid glare discomfort, and added directional spots to highlight the artwork and vertical surfaces.
By changing the position of the lights to be more aligned with the task area of the boardroom desk, the casting of the shadows and correct light levels were achieved. Client was also provided with an easy to control lighting scene set via Lutron Athena commercial lighting controls integration.
